Literary Biography

Writing, painting, and drawing have always been staples in my life. I have always had a creative side and have always tried to nurture it. My profession has been on the graphic design side, but I’ve never let much time go by without a story on the go or ideas for more stories brewing in my head. It has always been a deep passion of mine to come up with interesting ideas and commit them to paper.

During summer vacations in junior high and high school, I would hang out with my best friend, who was also a writing enthusiast, and we would share our stories and write at either his house or mine until late into the late hours of the night or even the early hours of the morning. Throughout art college, I would show up two hours early in the morning so I could have the cafeteria to myself to concentrate on my stories.

Though I have never had anything published professionally, I have written three fiction novels and eight screenplays, as well as numerous short stories and other projects, all in the horror or comedy genres. None of my work has been published to date, but I am always looking and trying to get my big break. In the meantime, I will be glad to keep writing and honing my craft.

NIGHT BEINGS begins with the 1847 lynching of Ansel Sullivan, a terrible town bully who murders a local saloon patron. Flash forward to 1947. Post-war Kansas. Wheat farmer James Bassett now owns the old Sullivan farmstead and begins to find himself and his home invaded by terrifying beings. The mysterious entities haunt the farm, frightening the farmhands and threatening the safety of the family. James quickly finds that something sinister now lives on the property. Maybe it has something to do with the old Sullivan family plot still on the farm.

James is left with a crop he has to harvest on his own and people he cares about dying around him. He enlists the help of his friend and local sheriff, Garth Burman, to help bring an end to the terror.

While people continue to die in horrific circumstances and rumours swirl around town, James and Garth must team up to find the truth and rid the farm of the dangerous creatures.

When James’s young daughter, Emma, starts researching the history of the farm for a school report, they are reluctant to take her revelations seriously. Yet she may just be the one person able to help them find the answers they need to rid the farm of evil once and for all.

Hold onto your seats. This is the story of – NIGHT BEINGS.

Your darkest fears in one of the darkest places on earth. Deep in the ice of the Antarctic lies a secret. A sinister and evil secret.

It’s a cold, dark world in the Antarctic. Survival is tough enough without the forces of evil working against you. ANGELS is the tale of archaeologist Dylan Carver and his efforts at Ice Base Delta to research one of the oldest artifacts known to man. An ancient relic that contains mysterious blue crystals. A relic that was well-hidden and never meant to be found. How did it get there? Where did it come from? And most of all, what evil does it contain?

This could turn out to be the greatest moment of Dylan’s career or the end of mankind. He comes across an ex-girlfriend, a dyed-in-the-wool Marine sergeant, a wise lead archaeologist, and a knowledgeable and talented team of biologists and archaeologists. He also finds horrific flying creatures that the ancients once referred to as ‘angels.’

He and the staff at the base may have unleashed an unstoppable group of nightmarish and deadly creatures that begin to multiply on their own. They must find a way to undo the mistake they have made and try to stop the creatures before they find a way to escape to the mainland and spread throughout the world.

It becomes a desperate struggle between good and evil that only the bravest should undertake.

Make sure the lights are on and get ready for – ANGELS.
