I have spent part of my career living in Red Deer, Alberta. During that time, I was hired on a freelance basis to create editorial cartoons. I was young and it was an exciting job for me. It opened some new doors and even led to two death threats. Still, it was an overall positive experience and one of the best jobs I have ever done. Most of this collection appeared in the Red Deer Advocate during 1987 and 1988.
Below are a few samples.

The section below contains a collection of cartoon characters created for a restaurant based on comic fictional organized crime figures. It was a fun adventure to work on this project and work through the process of developing the characters.
The artwork and appearance of the characters is mine, but the characters and their personalities are the concept of my friend Terry Driusso.
